First Announcement

The International Symposium on Non-Destructive Testing in Civil Engineering NDT-CE 2015 returns to Berlin. It brings together experts from all areas in this fast developing area of research and application. Researchers, manufacturers, service providers, owners of structures and those active in training, validation and standardization are welcome to share latest research and developments. 

The symposium provides an open space for exchange of ideas, new developments, testing needs from owners, asset management and from research. 

The symposium is open for session topics, especially from emerging fields in research and application. Please send your session proposal to  


The Symposium will be organized in Berlin/Germany. The infrastructure of BAM will be used for demonstrations and trials. Oral and poster presentations will be organized in sessions with special attention to discussion. 

Site Visit and Dinner 

A site visit to the BAM Horstwalde Validation Test Site will give participants the opportunity to get hands-on experience with advanced NDE equipment, automation and validation projects. The symposium dinner will take place in this unique environment.


Awards for best presentations and best posters will be nominated by the Scientific Committee and the symposium participants. 

Young Researchers

Young researchers under the age of 35 are encouraged to register for the Young Researcher Award. Presentations in this track will be given additional attention in the symposium. The award will be presented in the closing session.

Call for Papers

The call for papers will be published in the beginning of 2014.
